The city of Munich does not only have a river but also quite a few lakes which attract lots of birds. And sometimes – if you are lucky – you can watch some very special guests.
Two weeks ago we had a very rare encounter in Munich: a pair of snowgeese in the middle of the town on the Olympia Lake. First of all we did not realize that these geese were something very special but after looking closely we noticed that we had some really rare guests here. Totally white with a few black wing feathers, being much smaller than the grey geese, these were very elegant birds with a very beautiful plumage.
